? Donald’s Creek Restoration - Community Event ?

The Donald Creek Restoration project, led by students of St Teresa’s School in Featherston and supported by Mountains to Sea Wellington, Zoe Studd and Siv Fjaerestad is multi-year project aimed at improving habitat, returning native fish species and encouraging community connection to a neglected and forgotten waterway.

On Saturday 30th of November, we invite the community to come along to a fun-filled, freshwater monitoring family event where everyone can spend some time getting to know the stream, learn about the amazing Donald's Creek restoration project. We will celebrate the great mahi achieved so far by St Teresa's student kaitiaki and supporters to restore the freshwater ecosystem. You can learn more about this amazing and important project here https://donaldscreek.photo.blog/about/
